Welcome to the enchanting land of the Himalayas! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, complete the immigration and baggage formalities. Thereafter, meet your Sunrays Holiday Tour Manager, who will warmly welcome you and assist you with your transfer to begin your unforgettable Nepal journey.
Your first experience in Nepal is a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled along the banks of the holy Bagmati River, this iconic temple is renowned for its spiritual significance, centuries-old architecture, and vibrant religious rituals. Witness the serene atmosphere and immerse yourself in the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Nepal.
After seeking blessings and exploring the temple complex, proceed to your hotel for check-in and some time to relax after your journey.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner before retiring for the night.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore the cultural and spiritual treasures of Kathmandu Valley.
Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its peaceful ambience and vibrant Tibetan culture. Continue to the sacred Budhanilkantha Temple, home to the remarkable reclining statue of Lord Vishnu resting on a bed of serpents.
Next, explore the historic Patan Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its beautifully preserved palaces, intricately carved temples, traditional Newari architecture, and rich artistic heritage. (If the visit to Pashupatinath Temple could not be completed on Day 1 due to flight timings, it will be covered today.)
Later, drive to the picturesque hill station of Nagarkot, one of Nepal’s most famous viewpoints. Admire breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range and witness a spectacular sunset over the snow-capped peaks—a truly unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of your Nepal journey.
After soaking in the stunning scenery, return to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, set out to explore the natural wonders and cultural attractions of Pokhara, Nepal’s picturesque lake city.
Begin with a visit to the serene Phewa Lake, where the tranquil waters beautifully reflect the surrounding Himalayan peaks, creating a picture-perfect setting. Continue to the spectacular Davis Falls, a unique underground waterfall that disappears into a deep natural tunnel, followed by a visit to the sacred Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, home to an ancient Shiva shrine and offering fascinating views of the waterfall from within the cave.
